On this page you can download a custom CFS made build of FFmpeg 6.0n for Windows that includes revision 6 of the recent patchset written by Thomas Siedel, fully integrating the leading open-source VVC (Versatile Video Coding) codec into the FFmpeg toolkit. The codec is written & maintained by Fraunhofer HHI in two parts, the encoder (VVenC) and the decoder (VVdeC).
This build of FFmpeg is licensed under version 3 of the GNU General Public License, though the downloadable ZIP package on this page also includes the Clear BSD Clause licenses for the starring dependencies, VVenC and VVdeC, to comply with the distribution terms for those projects as well.
